Lowes Toolbox for Education Grant Winners
Lowes Toolbox for Education $5000 Grant Winners

Thanks to the outstanding work by Ms. Berry and Ms. Cue, Leavelle McCampbell has been slected to receive a 2009 Lowe's Toolbox for Education grant in the amount of $5000 for the "In the Dark - Light Up My Class" project fromt the Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation.
Ms. Berry and Ms. Cue wrote the grant to assist in providing updated tecnological equipment to every classroom at LMMS.  Many of our classrooms do not have access to equipment such as AirLiners, LCD projectors, and replecemtent lamps for projectors.  the use of this equipment and other technological advances in teh classroom will allow teacher sto provide a stimulatin environment that will academically challenge our students.  Ms. Berry stated that, "through the usage of hands-on technology, we will meet the various learning styles:  kinesthetic, auditory, and visual.  Therefore, our curriculum will challenge students to become critical thinkers, functioning at a high level in a global society."
Please congratulate Ms. Berry and Ms. Cue for this tremedous accomplishment.
